Started this one about 2 weeks ago. It's a commission build for a friend. He had an '01 GT that was True Blue and he had wrecked it and had a 99-01 Cobra nose put on it. Then road raced it for a time before he sold it.

He had Bullitt wheels on it for a while too. Closest thing I could find was the 22" Pegasus wheels. Painted the centers Model Masters Anthracite and painted the car Duplicolor Ford True Blue. LOTS of massaging to get the wheels to fit and look halfway decent. Even recreated his old Ohio custom plate he had for it. I also used pieces of old rabbit ear antennas to make the exhaust tips.

Enjoy and let me know what you think

That looks real nice Jesse, like how you toned down the rims with a different shade of colour, really sets the the whole car off B)

Gene Fine?

Yeah.

To stay on topic I got the same model and I was going to use a Boss 302 motor, wheels from a Hertz GT and a few other things.

Small world. And that sounds like it would be a killer project!

This car was actually built for Gene to replicate his old 02 GT or whatever year it was that he used to road race.
