John Goschke
There was no kit of the '58 Lincoln. AMT did do promotional and friction model versions. IIRC they were four-door hardtops, and, of course, molded in warp-prone acetate. The '59 and '60 were available as two-door hardtop and convertible styrene kits from AMT. Modelhaus may offer a resin kit of the '58.
MrObsessive
Modelhaus does make a '58 2 door hardtop Lincoln. If you click here it's the ordering info. No pic do they have of the kit though. Edit: OK I did some digging and here's a pic of what they have. Not the best pic as it's behind a case, and the sign is covering part of it. Hope this helps! StevenGuthmiller
I've seen a couple of the '58 promos in the past, but I've never seen a good one. As you can imagine, this long straight body style did not fair well in the warpage department being made of acetate plastic. I have 2 of the 60s, one hardtop & one convertible, & a '59 hardtop, all annuals. I hope to build all of them.........some day! Sadly though covered in THICK paint that I did strip, the 3 trim pieces in the right front fenderinsert were sanded down, and need to be replaced!!! Bob Ellis
I opened up a bag of potato chips, and inside were a lot of '58 Lincoln promos. Actually, the potato chips were flatter.
