Mark Posted December 3, 2015 Posted December 3, 2015 I remember seeing stacks of those in the mid/late Seventies at one of the local department stores, a buck apiece. I don't think many of them moved even then...

unclescott58 Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 It's my understanding that a full size version of the vehicle was built. Not a model I'm interested in ever owning. But, it would be fun to see one built. I hope Doug, that you post photos of model when it's done.
John Goschke Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Another reason I was building 72nd WW2 aircraft back then.
Brett Barrow Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 (edited) That's gotta be a Carl Casper creation.... Nope, it's by a "Willard Wayne". And yes, it's real: Edited December 4, 2015 by Brett Barrow
Junkman Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 IIRC it's the only kit of EVAH that yields a Lancia engine in 1/12 scale.I bet you always wanted to know that.
Len Barton Posted September 14, 2019 Posted September 14, 2019 Regarding the wheelbarrow car, Elegant Farmer. I painted the car for Willard. My shop and his were next door to each other in Hayward California. He worked on small engines and a lot of VW conversions as well as selling VW parts and accessories. All the car buffs in our business park would meet for breakfast every morning and we were talking about how custom car shows were getting so many ridiculously weird cars. Willard said he was going to build the strangest one yet out of a wheelbarrow! We dared him to do it. It was his only show piece ever. Last I saw Willard he had purchased a marina in Bethel Island California. Len Barton , Barton’s Custom Paint
