Great job of scratch building the loader and blade. Its good to see built up models of Ertl's tractor series. It should look good when you finish weathering everything

Nice work Chris!  You should post more of your builds here.  Wish "The Gathering" was still going on at Ogden Union station, I'd like to see your trucks/tractors again!

Apperantly they had the molds for the John Deere 4430 and 310 Backhoe as they have been reissued in modern time under the AMT/Ertl brand,
But I haven't seen the International 1466 and Massey Ferguson 1155 since the Ertl days, and not the wagon and plow kits either.

Hakan I was referring to the last time this company changed hand.

Yes you are correct about the reissue of the Deere products. Ertl must not had thought the other tractors would sell or the molds were not in good condition.  I would had picked up a few of the 1466 myself but that is what happens.

This is a nice tractor you have here, Christopher.

I asked and AMT did not receive the molds for the tractors so we are out of luck with any more .

That is a HUGE bummer...I had the International and Massey kits as a kid back when they came out loved them...

Since we have been chatting about Ertl's tractor kits, would it be worth while to start a string that displays our 1/25th-ish ag models? . There could be some interesting scratch builds and kit bashes out there.

There was a rumour awhile ago that Heller was coming out with a 1/24th scale Ferguson tractor, but I haven't seen anything about it lately.

Yes the Heller Ferguson is comming very soon if it haven't arrived yet.

It's strange that the tractor molds wasn't in the deal when Round 2 bought the plasic model side from RC2, they apperantly kept the Ertl brand and sells diecast tractors from John Deere, Case/IH, New Holland and Versatile.
