This my attempt at trying to model a KW T600 based on the old AMT kit. After reading numerous articles on the kit shortcomings, this was still a fun project to build. I can not even try to remember all of the modifications to this kit. This is a combination of the snap kit and of course the AMT kit. 001.thumb.JPG.9d95d5d7bf2329c478b362400d002.thumb.JPG.e86c5dc10d7df353e4f5d47369003.thumb.JPG.2ab11681f515344620988201cb004.thumb.JPG.4975d6516d0830ca59097ee3c8005.thumb.JPG.a31b437fb4fc041ba989f36009006.thumb.JPG.2896b9780e1585daf25e3a515a007.thumb.JPG.12385152cabc01981dcfff98daNo matter, this was fun, from start to finish. Nice mod.  The AMT kit represents an early T600B, around 1994.  The main issue with the kit is it still used the old, early early 1970s W900 kit frame, which was not a set back axle configuration as the T600 represents.  Everything under the kit hood was wrong.

However, it was a welcomed kit from AMT since they had not issued any new (American) truck subjects since the late 1970s, and have not since.

Beggars can't be choosy!
