Since you seem like a good egg, I spent the last 6 hours combing through a list of everyone who has ever appeared on "Mannix. The woman in the white tennis outfit to which you refer is in this picture:

I narrowed the possibilities to three blondes who appeared in the first season. The reason that I chose the first season is because that is where the clips for the opening credits are from. Anyway, here are the three possible candidates:

Laraine Stephens

Brooke Bundy

I have a theory that I think holds water.

The blonde is an uncredited extra who never played a significant part on Mannix.
Having been a student intern on Quinn Martin TV shows, I know that series production companies pretty much used stock companies of extras (bit players / background players / atmosphere, etc) who were around the set frequently or all the time; often, "wild" footage would be picked up for unknown potential use, just in case.
I came across a Mannix fan site where the name THORDIS BRANDT came up on the same subject of the title dancer, but not followed through on. [monsterkidclass.horrorforum.yuku.com], and that's who I think it is. She appeared in an uncredited part in Mannix, season 2 ("Pressure Point") as Miss Hampstead.

From Wikipedia: A bit player for most of her career, she appeared in such TV shows as Burke's Law "The Girl from UNCLE", "The Green Hornet", "Mannix" and a brief appearance in the 1967 episode of "The Fugitive", The One That Got Away. Thordis' appearances rarely required her to speak.[2]

Ann Sheridan:

I can't see this one on my screen, but it's tagged "Ann Sheridan," so I'm gonna guess, Ann Sheridan?

Okay, sometime I have troubles adding my own text on others when using the quote feature. That's what happened above.

But, I'm thinking Skip has got this one right. I've done some web searching. I'm amazed how little info there is out there on who this women might be. I site Skip found, I also found. I'm amazed at what people there, and here, know about these to me, obscure actresses. I too now think it was most likely Thordis Brandt too.
