om617
Does anyone cast this engine or maby avaliable in some more recent toolings that dont cost a fortune? I would love to get hold on 2 of them,or actually it`s the valve covers and timing covers i`m most interested in. Ideas and suggestions are appricated. Thanks
MrObsessive
Last I knew, that engine was in the MPC '69 Firebird kit. I have the kit buried somewhere in the house, but I'm quite sure it had that six in it. I don't remember the last reissue of that one (should have been fairly recent), and I don't know of anyone casting it, although others might know. HTH! Snake45
Some '80s reissues of the MPC '69 Camaro also had it. These were molded in black, and got the Pontiac engines tree instead of Chevy for some reason. (Firebird interior, too, I think.)
BigTallDad
There is an online site (I can't remember the name) that has instruction sheets for a BUNCH of models. Look up the instructions for the kits mentioned above to confirm that's what you're looking for.
disabled modeler
The MPC/AMT 69 Firebird kits did have the Pontiac Sprint 6cyl engines in them...I have no clue if I have any or not left.

Casey
The MPC Daytona Transporter kit also has the OHC Pontiac inline six-cylinder engine, which you can get a decent look at here: http://round2corp.com/model-kit-instructions/uploads/mpc787.pdf From the Cybermodler Online site's reviews section: Edited October 23, 2017 by Casey

Tom Geiger
Wasn't there a race car kit that had a couple of this engine?
Mark
Wasn't there a race car kit that had a couple of this engine? You're probably thinking of the Revell Mickey Thompson Attempt I, which had two Pontiac Tempest "half a V8" fours.
