StevenGuthmiller
Looks great Steve!Would have looked better with a nice set of Magnum wheels though. Those "Dukes" wheels on every '69 Charger are really getting tired. Steve
Harry P.
Nice paint, nice sharp, clean model. I'm also not a fan of those wheels, but since they're there, you might consider a black wash to bring out the molded-in details and get rid of that toylike look. Intmd8r
Like what everyone else said - excellent build! Not a fan myself of the "Turbine" wheels, but I have a friend who can't get enough of them. He even has a set on his 1:1 Manx Dune Buggy. To each their own...

espo
Great paint job. Looks very "deep" and smooth. Wheels are a very personal thing. I had a set of these years ago on a 1:1 Chevy van. They have a natural rough finish on most of the center as cast. Some guys would paint this area to match the body color or a contrasting color like the interior or something. The model looks great either way you want it.

Im really a complete amateur at doing model cars but hopefully I will get better at it. Best regards, Steve

wisco8
Really nice black paint, your charger looks really good Thank you Eric, I do have to charge those wheels I'm partial to Cragar mags, like these.
StevenGuthmiller
Thanks Steve, here are the wheels that will be available let me know which ones look best. Ick, ick & ick! Hate 'em all! I see these guys driving around town in an old Impala with a set of those huge hoops & it just makes my stomach crawl. Who wants a low sleek '68 Impala that looks more like a monster truck. The Turbine wheels are miles above any of these! Thank you Eric, I do have to charge those wheels I'm partial to Cragar mags, like these. Now you're talking! If you don't want to go stock, a nice set of "vintage" wheels like the Cragar S/S, Keystone Classics, some "Torque Thrusts or even a set of good old magnesium slots would do the Charger justice. The other ones would just make it look like a bad cartoon. If you're in short supply, just let us know. The guys on the forum would be more than happy to supply you with a nice set of wheels. I'm sure that I have all sorts of wheels I could part with. Steve
Ron Hamilton
I like it the way it sits, but those wheels need a little detailing.. The Cragar S/S wheels will work too. The AMT '65 Ford Galaxie, and the '65 Pontiac G/P has an excellent set of 15 x 7 Cragars, which will look great on the car with a set of AMT White Lettered Polyglas GT tires.
