I just snatched a copy of this DK (Dorling Kindersley) book on Classic cars. Consistent with every other DK book that I've encountered, the quality is outstanding. Clear and concise text, and some awesome photography. At better than 300 pages, it's just crammed to the rafters with cool automotive "stuff".

(I was unsure of exactly where to put this, so this section of the forums, seemed good enough.)

We amassed a large library of DK books when my daughter was in grade school. They were mostly for me. Great stuff.

Yep, it's odd, many are marketed as kids books, but are perfect for many adults too, myself being one of them. I tend to gravitate lately toward space related, but science, history, art and nature also appeal very heavily.

They also do at least one equivalent book on motorcycles. While I have no passion for motorcycles whatsoever, it is undoubtedly a great book for those that do.

And yet another for the pile, this time on gems. At 440 pages, it's a very heavy book, but as is the case with most DK publications, rather inexpensive.

And another on cars from DK publishing, and another that's in excess of 300 pages. I have to tell you fellas, for the really decent prices these books can be had for, they are truly excellent.
