gtx6970
Last nite while rummaging thru the pile to pull kits out for sale ( Im thinning down considerably on cheap kits ) I stumbled on this one, and to be honest I didnt even know I had it . So I pulled it out of the box to take an assessment if it was complete before I decided to keep it or put it in the sell pile . Everything was still sealed in the bags. So I did a quick parts count, and thought this could be an easy one. So,,last nite at about 8 pm I ripped it open and dove in . By midnight it was almost done. Painted almost entirely in Tamiya spray lacquers so it dries fast. This morning attached the tail lights , exhaust stacks and headlights and walked away for the afternoon while they dried. Honestly Ive got MAYBE 4.5 hours in it,,,,, 5 at the very most. Its done and in the case. I feel good. ,,,,,,, Just might have to do the actual Munsters Coach next. Thanks for looking, Enjoy, and any comments good or bad more then welcome Edited December 9, 2017 by gtx6970

espo
This turned out really nice. That could be a good idea if you just don't want to get bogged down in a build.
Davewilly
Looks pretty good...yeah they dont take long to build at all..And look really good when they are done. specially when a lot of kits take 5 hours just to clean up all the mold lines and flash! Pete J.
This just reminded me of something. I can't believe how either incredibly brave or stupid(not sure which) the drag racers of this era were, straddling the differential! Lets just go sit on a bomb! MAGIC MUFFLER
It turned out great!!! Your time frame for the build is amazing too!
Ron Hamilton
Wow! Nice build. It's ironic that tonight I was watching "The Munsters" on COZI TV, and the episode where "Dragula" was created by Grandpa, Herman and Eddie out of scrap parts to win back the "Family Car" that Herman lost in a drag race. I enjoyed it.

I do the same thing at times...simple builds even snaps can get one out of a slump and get good results from them.
Snake45
Nothing wrong with a quick slump-buster build, and you did a fine job with it! Anyone else ever notice that that bubbletop is just a P-51D Mustang canopy turned backwards?
