I think I forgot to post this here. I recently finished this built. Kit is straight out of the box other that the real polished aluminum fuel tanks, polished aluminum stack upper pipes and a Detail Master gauge set on the dash. The main chassis (other than the wheels, fuel tanks and stacks) and the engine were built back in the mid eighties. At that time, I did not know that IH painted their engines red. I had custom mixed the Alpine green, thinking that was the color it was supposed to be.

That's a really nice looking 4070A, Ben.  Very well done.  I have the 4070B Transtar II in the stash that I might attempt some day!

WOW - outstanding job Ben!  I've got a Transtar II in the stash that I'm looking forward to building one day.  I'll definitely refer to your build when I do.
