olschoolkid
That is an awesome looking Fairlane. I myself have the same kit and I'm thinking about building a pro touring style build with it. This has given me a few ideas for my potential build.
665@213
Thanks everyone for the comments! I know that its not everyone's cup of tea, but I like this style of build. Its different, and I have a hard time trying to build something straight out of the box Lol. There are parts from 7 different kits in this Fairlane, and the resin steel wheels from Casey. Here are the 2 cars that were my inspiration for this build. I love the look of both of these Fairlanes, so there's a little of both. Bobby Alloway built the 67 and Dean's hot rod shop did the 66. Lovefordgalaxie
The car looks very clean and nicely done. Don't like the wheels tough. Needs a bit of foil on the windshield columns.
thatz4u
Thank you! The valve covers were dechromed and sprayed with Testors fabric gray lacquer. I wanted a raw, unfinished cast look.where did you find testors fabric grey? I looked at HL, not there
