jeff f Posted October 12, 2017 Author Posted October 12, 2017 First I wish I knew how to edit the title with updates ??? A little progress to report on . Made a distributor and pined the spoiler to the deck lid . Thanks again Jeff .
10thumbs Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 Looking great Jeff!Guys, check out the background machines and environment in pics from the first page. Jeff knows his stuff.About the editing. Jeff, go to your first post on this topic, choose 'edit', and you can change/edit your title, better though, you can add in what a recent update might contain. In other words, you can add to the original title to show what you're offering on a particular new update. The valve covers look pretty sexy. Well done.Michael
jeff f Posted October 12, 2017 Author Posted October 12, 2017 Big thank you Michael .Your not to shabby in the talent dept. either . What I see on these pages skill , talent wise is at the top of the pyramid .Jeff
jeff f Posted October 19, 2017 Author Posted October 19, 2017 All little more parts robbing . The front tin came from the Monogram Camaro . I hah a terrible time with the A pillar cage area hence the ugly braces . A ton of fitting on these non kit subjects for sure . Thanks Jeff .
NYLIBUD Posted October 19, 2017 Posted October 19, 2017 Nice job on the motor,so far.And I said it before, the stance is perfect.
10thumbs Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 Hi Jeff, looks very innovative and real, I like. Great detailing.
NYLIBUD Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 Jeff,I posted the above pictures of Warren Johnsons cars to help you have a reference.I Hope they help.By the way,the car looks great.I Cant wait to see more.
jeff f Posted October 25, 2017 Author Posted October 25, 2017 Still working on it , the red stripe decal almost caused a 200 mph crash into a wall ! Letting the nerves settle a bit a snapped a few pics . Jeff .
NYLIBUD Posted October 25, 2017 Posted October 25, 2017 There u go,right on the nose.Excellent job.Did the decals give you a hard time at all?
jeff f Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 Yea Ron , rough day . I had to cut the red stripes apart and piece them together . Thanks for looking Jeff .
jeff f Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 For better or for worse , the decals are on . This will be the latest year pro stock in my collection . Jeff .
Red rocket 10 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Jeff , you have done a great job capturing the true essence of Warrens Johnson's P/S .Can you talk a little more about the chassis and what modification you made to make it all work? Leonard
jeff f Posted October 26, 2017 Author Posted October 26, 2017 Sure Leonard , making the body drop far enough is most of the work . I sanded the tops of the wheel tubs heavily and thinned the underside of the deck lid right behind the back glass . also trimmed the pan about .100 to .120 per side to clear the rockers . Wheel base is ok as is , I cut the rear coilovers to lower the rear . That's the easy part .Thanks for the interest , Jeff.
Red rocket 10 Posted October 26, 2017 Posted October 26, 2017 Jeff this is what I've been working on , thanks for the motivation , I need to finish it. Leonard
jeff f Posted October 27, 2017 Author Posted October 27, 2017 That's looking great , nice wheel n tire setup . Is that the same chassis as mine ?Jeff .

Red rocket 10 Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Hey Jeff , the entire cage is scratch built along with the front of the chassis as well . the only kit piece is the mid section.
