Sport Suburban Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 69 Pontiac Grand Prix. Another one of my completed restorations of an MPC kit. I really like these cars and have to do a 71 and 72 also. I just really like the look of these 69 and 70 Grand Prix best. I was stuck trying to pick a color for this and it was almost a raspberry red. It is now Testors Anthresite Grey metallic. It was previously built in a similar color. Quote
Anglia105E Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 I like your Pontiac build Raoul and it's a nicely done paint job too. I looked everywhere for a 4-door Pontiac kit but there does not seem to be one available. This is because I wanted to build a replica of a Pontiac Parisienne that I once owned as a real car. The car was a 1968 model from Canada and right hand drive. Photo here for you. David Quote
Snake45 Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 VERY clean build, as we've come to expect from you. You're quickly becoming one of my favorite builders on this whole site. Model on! Quote
Kmb0319 Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Just BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Fantastic restoration and great color choices. Man, I wish this kit could/would come back... especially a new tool from Moebius or Revell!! Quote

montelsc Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Beautiful grandprix just did a resto on one about 6 months ago was this a resto or fresh build?? Quote
espo Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Another beautiful Restoration. Your color choice give the model a very rich looking finish. It is a shame non of the Model Companies today haven't issued a model of this body style. Quote

bogger44 Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Beautifully done! I have to say I'm a bit jealous as I'd love to have one of these in my collection. Always been a big fan of this era Grand Prix. Quote

They came in the original kit but mine had used the other ones. My unbuilt 70 kit had them so I used them on this one. Quote
