Chuck Most
This was mostly thrown together box stock, other than the addition of big and little tires and Cragar wheels from the Monogram '37 Ford coupe, a parts box side view mirror (Revell '64 Impala, maybe?) and aluminum tube exhaust tips. espo
Nice clean looking Day 2 model. These were far better cars than most people realize.
89AKurt
Nice! Bare Metal foil used? I knew someone with one of these, but a hardtop. Took him down to the Maricopa junkyard south of Phoenix because he needed brake drums, none around. Funny how cars have memories for you. OldTrucker
I remember a few of these around here back when I was in grade school thru Jr high! Mostly from the local college campus! Bare Metal foil was used on the scripts- I applied it to the raw plastic then knocked off the primer and paint rather than try to foil each individual letter. As far as I know it hasn't been reissued since the '80's but they're still out there. Thanks guys!
