R. Thorne
Really nice job on probably the rarest thunderbolt. Rear shocks look like coil overs (in 1964?), but maybe the old Monroe Load Levelers?
Leonidas
Cool, never seen one of these before. Is this a Ford built Hemi or a MOPAR Hemi?

Brutalform
He also had a 63 1/2 Galaxie with the converted “Hemi” heads on a 427 Ford. From what I’ve read, the Galaxie was never raced.
Leonidas
Awesome, thanks for the info. Fascinating stuff. Those valve covers are enormous! Edited May 14, 2018 by Leonidas
Brutalform
My build of that car......but the mag is off a bit on the engine, and the red interior might not be correct either. It was hard to find pics of it. I built this one a while back.

Brutalform
I think the T Bolt sold on Mecum, or Barrett Jackson for almost a quarter of a million.

The kit supplied 427 bottom end, then I bought the carbs from FAB resin, and the valve covers from Speed City Resin. The heads are cut down hemi heads from my parts bin. The rear of the heads are hollowed out, but the firewall blocks where I cut them. The M/T covers were a bit shorter maybe because they were for the 392?? The intake is a hemi part that I sanded to fit. The engine bay had the shock towers removed, and replaced with evergreen sheet styrene. Edited May 14, 2018 by Brutalform .
