Pat Minarick
Was driving home and saw my friends Daytona at a small local car show. The 01 are just magnets. He just had to show me something from his child hood. Really got to talk him out of these! the Superbird is still sealed, he has a real one too. Lizard Racing
The Daytona/Superbird were the most outrageous of the muscle cars of the '60s. And you could go buy one!

High octane
I had built that K&K Insurance car many years ago, and wish that I still had it. Sigh.
iamsuperdan
Those Winged Warriors are still my fav muscle car. I became aware of them and fell in love with them after reading a Car & Driver article back in the late 80s. I was maybe 15. Article features a Hemi Daytona, black with white stripe o nthe back. So much want these days. Still can't afford one though!
SSNJim
I remember a Petty blue Superbird parallel parked (!) on Bonnycastle Avenue near Bardstown Rd in Louisville, KY around 1970. I'll never forget the Roadrunner decal on the spoiler. My dad had a shop near there, but I only saw the car once as we drove by.
Hawk312
Do any recent kits include the parts to build the accurate stock car version of the Superbird?
