Limeyglue Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Here is my latest finished build. its the revell kit with the 37 sedan chassis and lowered suspension and fitted with the steel wheels from the 32 five window. paint is rattle can black with Tamiya clear. Thanks for looking Lee
Draggon Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 That looks great! Nice to see the steel wheels on this, most folks use something less traditional.
espo Posted September 1, 2018 Posted September 1, 2018 Great paint finish, very clean looking build. Hard to believe that the '37 Ford used to be called "the ugly duckling". The red wheels and louvered hood look perfect.
Limeyglue Posted September 1, 2018 Author Posted September 1, 2018 Thanks for the great comments guys. Lee
oldnslow Posted September 2, 2018 Posted September 2, 2018 Nice , simple , drive it every day rod . Looks great .
Tyler62990 Posted September 4, 2018 Posted September 4, 2018 It's amazing what a set of wheels can do. I always thought that gaudy purple street rod thing on the box was so bad looking, I just couldn't get past it to see this kits potential. I may just have to get one of these after seeing yours. That's a picture perfect hotrod in my opinion.
Limeyglue Posted September 5, 2018 Author Posted September 5, 2018 Thanks guys, you know what they sat Tyler - never judge a bool by the cover! Lee

Lovefordgalaxie Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 Kind of refreshing to see steel wheels on this car. Way better than what comes in the kit.
Limeyglue Posted September 7, 2018 Author Posted September 7, 2018 Thanks for the comments guys i agree the kit wheels are awfull and really skinny. Cheers Lee
