Can anyone tell me if the revell Shelby gt-350r kit with the blue car and white stripes on the box cover has decals with blue stripes? I wanted to make the opposite (white car with blue stripes). Or do I need to find one with a white car with blue stripes on the box. For some reason google doesn’t seem to know the answer to this, or my computer skills are faiding.

This is the kit I am referring to

I looked up the instruction sheet on the Revell site, and there does not appear to be alternate decals. Maybe someone who has the kit can confirm?

Vintage Racing Miniatures has a white/blue stripe set for the GT350R. The car they are replicating ran in the 24 Hours of LeMans. I have the decals in my collection, so I can confirm they exist. Hope this helps in your search.

i suppose i will just try to find the white with blue stripes on the box to be sure. i was looking to recreate this car, which i dont know if this was even a real racecar. i found it by accident when looking for a different picture and fell in love with it.

FYI: the decal stripes in that kit are an dull blue/grey and not even close to the Guardsman Blue original color.  They might be an aid in paint masking though.  Your muse was used to win the 1965 SCCA B Production title, not always with the #3.  Try Googling GT350 5R213 for more photos.

Shades of blue.  Interesting Fred Cady did GT350R decals and included the R which was never put on a car.  The R model was the race version but the side decals were the same as the street GT350.  The stripes on the top were painted.

Just to confirm that both issues only come with the decals to make that version pictured on the box. So no extra decals.

Super nice builds.
