Yes, I know, all kinds of diecast, slot cars etc'.I have a few,

I'm talking a real honest to goodness 1/25th - 1/24th kit

Old Merit (English) kit, 1/24 scale.

 

                                                                                     

Though the kit has no engine or opening panels, you could do a credible powerplant by first lopping off a couple of cylinders from an E-type Jag mill, and flattening the cam covers behind the sprocket bumps. The carbs are individual Amals, not too hard to scratch, with aluminum stacks from the aftermarket. (NOTE: The later engine shown has Bosch timed mechanical fuel injection, but retains the Amal carbs as throttle-bodies...much like some EFI systems made today.)

Fenando Pinto has what looks to be a fairly nice resin kit if you don't mind spending the cash,  but I wouldn't mind seeing a decent Vanwall kit for a reasonable price.

There was a kerbside resin kit in 20th scale that was released in the UK a few years back. Cannot remember the manufacturer. Last I heard was that Little Tools owner Paul Fitzmaurice bought the moulds recently. I can remember building the24th scale  Merit kit many years ago. A bit basic but could be worked on.
