RandyB. Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 Just finished up this Trumpeter 1960 Pontiac Bonneville. Not exactly the easiest kit to build with way too may unnecessary detail parts but does build into a nice representation of a 1960 Pontiac Bonneville. Like many other kits, it does have some shortcomings. 1
bbowser Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 That's gorgeous! Great color, neat foil work. Well done.
GMCMAN52 Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 one great looking Pontiac. The color fit's it just right
tbill Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 You have definitely captured the essence of the car, well done!
modelercarl Posted November 10, 2018 Posted November 10, 2018 WOW! That is the best build I think I have seen of the Trumpeter kit despite it's shortcomings. The paint and foiling are excellent, the interior is spot on and the photography has captured every detail magnificently. I bought a '60 Catalina when they came out so these have always held a special place in my memory....had several friends who bought them that year, Catalinas, Venturas, and Bonnevilles. Again....an excellent build of this kit!!!
Jairus Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Nice build up! If you had not put plug wires in, it would/could win box stock.
OldTrucker Posted November 12, 2018 Posted November 12, 2018 Love it! Perfect color for a beautifully designed car! One of the best I have seen of this kit built!
