Revell Ford GT

This is the snap-tire version of the 2017 Ford GT from Revell. For being such a simple kit, this model was actually really detailed. I’m looking forward to the release of the full detail kit from Tamiya. I have more photos that I’ll try to upload later because it’s not letting me upload them. Let me know what you think.

Thanks,

Evans

I agree your Ford GT looks good in white. I was just watching the Roar before the Daytona 24 and noticed the Ford GT racecars now have a predominately white livery which I like a lot better than the previous livery

The white livery is only for the Roar testing apparently. I'd like to see them run it, but heard a rumor it was just for Daytona testing.

Looks great in white. If I may, take some clear glue and fill in the mirrors over and over till its built up then colour it silver, will make them look a lot better than the holes.

There will be whats being described as a 'throw-back' livery to celebrate in part the 50th anniversary of IMSA.  No one was saying much about what its supposed to look like though.

Nice and simple and very clean...... I have done 2 of these snap Ford GT kits, ( one in Gulf Oil colors and one white with Martini stripes ) and yes, they do look very nice for a snapper.  I am looking forward to building the Revell Le Mans version when it finally gets to me and also the street version from Tamiya like you.  P.S., for the mirrors try this, fill in the "hole" with plastic or even putty and then cut some bare metal foil for the mirror.  I do it all the time.
