Sorry for a slightly off topic subject, but does anyone know of a site similar to this one dealing with multimedia 1/43 historic race car kits? Most of what I can find seems to deal with completed diecast replicas, which do not interest me. Foreign language sites acceptable. Thanks, Jack

I think most forums cater for them, scale and the material is unimportant really, but make sure to include it so people know its a smaller scale. There is a resin cast section lower down the menu page with resin/diecast but i think they are more modified pre built (I'm probably wrong on that)

The reality is 1/43 is much more popular in Europe than the US.  Here's a site where I have posted some builds.  As you know except for the great Corvette and Cobra kits by Monogram, all the kits I have bought were from France and England and diecasts from China or maybe Japan.  Start posting some pictures and perhaps other will play along.

Some sniff at 1/43, but I can't think of any other scale where you'll have the most variety. Every once in a long while, I'll build a 1/43, just the ideal thing at times for a slump buster as there's no chassis detail to deal with and most times no engine.

Here are a few I've built in the past..............

Way to go Bill.   Yous should bring them to a meeting sometime.  I usually throw a few in the IMPS contest because there aren't a lot of entires and usually come home with a 2nd or this place.  The J car is a little dusty - built in the 1990s.

I would love to see a NNL sub theme of anything but 1/24 or 1/25 scale.
