Rubber Duck Mack

Recommended Posts

My take on the movie truck from "Convoy".  I started with the AITM resin kit and made some changes.  I altered the aircleaner, made new fuel tanks/steps, added the am/fm antenna, added CB antennas, scratch built the mirror brackets, scratch built the air deflector supports.  The chrome is a combo of BMF and Molotow liquid chrome.  I added clearance lights to the sleeper.  Paint is Testor's Aztek gloss black with several coats of Pollyscale clear over.  Mudflaps came from Auslowe with kit supplied decals. The photos have dust, forgot to clean it first but black is tough, it shows everything!

Love it. Absolutely fantastic buildB)

Is on my wish list to re-do from my childhood as I made the Ertl version long ago and far away

Is there still a kit available???

Thanks, it's the AITM kit.  If Dave is out of stock, let him know you want one.  Just be aware it's not cheap.....but much better to start with than the old ERTL kit.
