Jantrix Posted January 9, 2020 Author Posted January 9, 2020 Thanks guys. I found this online, I may photoreduce it, print off some decals and make it some door art. Seems to fit the concept.

I don't know how self-printed decals would work, but I wet-sanded these decals, just enough water to slide across. One could dry brush over a decal to give the effect too. This project looks awesome! Some of us post every little thing we do, so the front bumper being scratch built would be good to see.

Well the image is already sort of faded and dinged up, so maybe just some grime? I'll print several and put one on a scrap body for experimentation. The front bumper will include the fairing like the 1:1 inspriation added to the super chunky front bumper from a 41 Plymouth. Not much scratch building. The rear one though. ?
Jantrix Posted January 13, 2020 Author Posted January 13, 2020 I found some decals I made for a previous build that seem to work well. Here's front bumper.
doggie427 Posted January 13, 2020 Posted January 13, 2020 Very nicely done Rob. The paint/decal is great,
Mattilacken Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Great project! Love the outcome! How do you print this style of stickers?

I bought some decal paper and printed them on my ink jet printer. Thanks very much. I'm hoping to get some time this weekend to get some more done.
