Tom99 Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 I started with a MCW Resin, and with some Google help, I found a 1956 Dodge I wanted to replicate. The colors are Scalefinishes, 1956 Dodge colors, Chinese Rose, Iridescent Charcoal, and Sapphire White. I made decals for the upholstery, using 1956 Dodge seat cove pictures. 1
espo Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Now this is a flash from the past. I'm thinking of the color combination. The Chrysler products had the best looking paint jobs during the 3 color body finishes era. The paint finishes are all nicely done and the interior looks like the correct patterns of that period. Well built.
Hard_2_Handle_454 Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 Beautiful. I really wish someone would make a kit of these cars. Best looking of the 50s cars
larman Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Beautiful work on an unusual model! Great color combo!
Bucky Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 This is one of the ultimate MOPARS! And you have done a beautiful rendition! I'm from a large family of MOPARITES, and one of my aunts had one of these tri-tone Dodges. It was the best looking car in the whole family!!!
David G. Posted January 31, 2020 Posted January 31, 2020 Excellent color choices! Making pattern decals for the upholstery is a great idea. Beautifully done! David G.
