Matt T. Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 (edited) Recent MPC kit, built curbside, painted Tamiya Racing Green with Racing White wheels and semi gloss black gut. I had to shim the bed to level it up and prevent that tail dragging look. I weathered the chassis with spray cans and lightly weathered the bed and wheels with washes. Had a lot of fun with this. Replica of my dad’s work truck from circa 1979. Special thanks to Mark in New Jersey (MPR Decals) for the beautiful, high quality, custom door decals. Edited March 21, 2020 by Matt T. Decal credit 1
Steamboat Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Very nice. It looks like you could get in and drive it.
Plowboy Posted March 21, 2020 Posted March 21, 2020 Really nice looking Dodge! I've resisted buying this kit as I have an LRE and the monster truck that still haven't been built. But, this model sure does make me want one! Nice work!
maxwell48098 Posted March 22, 2020 Posted March 22, 2020 Very nice, but don't forget the outside rear view mirrors. A.J.
Hmann68 Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Clean and sharp! I can almost hear that Chrysler starter ??
89AKurt Posted March 29, 2020 Posted March 29, 2020 That's a nice model! Now I'm tempted with this, my dad had a used '72, the first year of this generation, so nobody better show me a conversion grill. ?
Jim B Posted April 2, 2020 Posted April 2, 2020 Nicely done, clean build. Is that a DEC logo on the door?
