Starting with Revell's "Hot Rod" Chevy Street Pickup and a Morgan Automotive Detail long box, I lengthened the chassis, corrected the front suspension, and added the custom grille, bumpers, roll bar, wheels, and lights through a combination of scratchbuilding, kitbashing, and 3D printing. A full writeup of the build is available here, and as always comments/criticisms welcome.

And, just for grins, a shot of it with my T2 Harley-Davidson:

That turned out great.

I always suspected someone with the skills could make a fine looking model out of that old dog of a kit and you proved that right there.

It was a fight, and I'm still not 100% satisfied with it, but considering the subject and kit I'm happy shooting for "close enough" on this one! ?
