cobraman Posted April 14, 2020 Posted April 14, 2020 This was built using a resin body and a frame and engine and parts from a Revell Rat Rods kit . Sheet plastic was used to make the firewall , front wheel well skirts . Holes drilled in rear for sunken tail lights . Engine needed to be moved back some to fit inside the body . Wheel base was increased . Rear wheel wells were enclosed with skirts from a AMT 36 Ford kit . Hood scoop from the parts box . Exhaust was modified . Paint is Tamiya light blue . Turned out ok but not as nice as I had hoped . Never do ! Thanks for looking .
Scott8950 Posted April 15, 2020 Posted April 15, 2020 That is wicked cool.. nothing like a vintage drag car. very well done.

David gale Posted November 27, 2021 Posted November 27, 2021 How can someone get a crosley body like this
cobraman Posted November 27, 2021 Author Posted November 27, 2021 One of the resin casters David but I can not remember who it was from, sorry.
89AKurt Posted November 28, 2021 Posted November 28, 2021 Love the out-of-the-box ...... oh wait, that doesn't apply to models ..... drive by a different drummer thinking! I've never built a perfect model, so I would be happy to finish another one this year.
