gseeds Posted June 25, 2020 Share Posted June 25, 2020 Another 37 Chevy amt , I really like this kit and built several over the years, this build this time is a street rod , body is pretty much stock with the exception of a slightly fared rear wheel wells, painted black with a blue pearl, big Chevy blown 454 motor, Chevy really wheels, blue tinted windows and it’s done, thanks for looking! I happened to build this kit forty-some years ago and, based on some vague memories, it appears you've made a significant upgrade by swapping out engines. Seems like the original was...meh. Gary, this is absolutely gorgeous. I love the detail painting on the blower and the chrome factory valve covers, which give it a period late 60s early 70s vibe. And then there's that paint. Thanks Dave , paint is a automotive base coat , and the clear would be a 2K automotive clear coat , just about any 2K clear would work , any paint store or auto parts store the sells Automotive paints would have it , thanks again Dave !
