gseeds Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Another 37 Chevy amt , I really like this kit and built several over the years, this build this time is a street rod , body is pretty much stock with the exception of a slightly fared rear wheel wells, painted black with a blue pearl, big Chevy blown 454 motor, Chevy really wheels, blue tinted windows and it’s done, thanks for looking!
Spottedlaurel Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 Yet another stunner from you! Looks fantastic.
espo Posted June 25, 2020 Posted June 25, 2020 The paint looks like a mirror and I like how you got the shade of blue color. The engine detailing is something to study, really well done.

Monty Posted July 3, 2020 Posted July 3, 2020 (edited) Gotta agree with the others: fantastic paint and great wheel & tire choice. I happened to build this kit forty-some years ago and, based on some vague memories, it appears you've made a significant upgrade by swapping out engines. Seems like the original was...meh. Gary, this is absolutely gorgeous. I love the detail painting on the blower and the chrome factory valve covers, which give it a period late 60s early 70s vibe. And then there's that paint. Having seen your paint jobs in person, photos don't do them justice. What do you clear coat them with?

Thanks Dave , paint is a automotive base coat , and the clear would be a 2K automotive clear coat , just about any 2K clear would work , any paint store or auto parts store the sells Automotive paints would have it , thanks again Dave !

doorsovdoon Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Man, that's nice! The paint really shines, and I love those Rally wheels. They look so right on this.
Michael in Illinois Posted September 16, 2020 Posted September 16, 2020 Love The color, how did you get the front to sit down like that, Every time I've built that kit I cant seem to get the front down.
