BeakDoc Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Just a simple 4x4 build to cleanse the palate. Box stock plus a distributor. Colors are Testor’s White Lightning/Wet Look clear and Tamiya AS-19 Intermediate Blue/semigloss clear. Grill and bumpers are Alclad High Gloss Aluminum. Thanks for looking. As always, comments, critiques, questions and conversation are welcome.
iamsuperdan Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Nicely done! Really like your colour choice.
Dominik Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 nice and clean - well done! The color is very beautiful.
Goose1957 Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Very nice. The blue decals look really good on the white. I like how everything is color coordinated. Good build. Jeff

Classicgas Posted November 17, 2020 Posted November 17, 2020 Well done. Speedway Decals sells a set of Arctic Cat decals for that snowmobile. That's what it actually is. A 79 El Tigre.

While I have driven a snowmobile, once, thru Yellowstone in February (at 25 below zero- whole new definition of “cold”), here in Georgia you’ll have better odds of seeing a unicorn zipping across a winter field. But I digress. One more decal sheet to add to my order. Thank you to everyone else who looked and/or commented as well.
mikemodeler Posted November 18, 2020 Posted November 18, 2020 That is very nice and well detailed! Love the color choices and how the snowmobile is painted to match.
Doug 1061 Posted November 19, 2020 Posted November 19, 2020 Great work there. I have one of these somewhere in my pile, haven't decided what color to paint it.
PappyD340 Posted November 20, 2020 Posted November 20, 2020 Very nice, I almost bought the Honcho version back in the day but never could trade dollars with the dealer!
