jjsipes Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Dug this one out of my stash to finish. Inly had a few parts to add upon pulling it out of the box. Started with the Moebius Joe Weatherly Pontiac kit.. Painted Testors Classic White with Duplicolor Autumn Maple interior, Powerslide decals. Made headlight covers. Mostly out of box except headlight covers, fuel filler neck and overflow below the trunk lid. Had tobwait a few days for it to stop snowing to be able tobget pictures outside. Hope I was able to capture the look accurately.
TransAmMike Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 I'll be the first to compliment you on this build. Looks great Jason, looks flawless?
jjsipes Posted February 3, 2021 Author Posted February 3, 2021 Here's a picture of the interior during construction
Steamboat Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Very nice. Clean, crisp and great attention to detail. Well done!
bogger44 Posted February 5, 2021 Posted February 5, 2021 That is beautiful, and great photography as well, congrats! Always love seeing Pearson's cars, he was one of my favorites.
jjsipes Posted February 5, 2021 Author Posted February 5, 2021 Thanks for the comments. I really enjoy the older nascar cars.
papajohn97 Posted March 21, 2021 Posted March 21, 2021 Nice job Jason on I think what is Moebius’s most challenging auto kit. You did an excellent job resolving the window and grill fit issues. Also nice job applying all those big decals over all those compound curves and sharp ridges. A Cool Cat (or should I say dog?)!
Matt P Posted March 28, 2021 Posted March 28, 2021 Wow, what a great build, congratulations on the fine work.
