Don't know if I have already posted this one built in 1986: additonal tank and double sleeper parts came from a second kit, bumper is from Revell, license plates Italeri, and the Eagle is hand-painted (no such decals back then) - the orange color I had at hand  is a bit too dark, the light brown/beige (eagle) is the color of the primer.

Beautiful build!! I personally would like to see more pictures!

Thanks, Brian - these are the only ones I have made, and in the meantime - due to 2 movings - the lengthened frame is broken in half.

So I have to repair this rig anytime in the future...

That’ll be a worthwhile restoration. It’s an impressive build, especially with the hand-painted livery. Incredible artwork.

Thanks, this will be done soon (some other trucks have suffered, too)...

Very nice build Helmut, the hand painted eagle is very impressive and I love the color combination.  Too bad it was damaged during your move, these styrene models don't like to be handled too much but fortunately it's usually possible to make these little damages disappear... ??

Thanks, Francis, every now and then you have to re-glue fallen-off pieces...

wow, you hand painted that? Amazing! Beautiful looking rig.

Thank you, Gareth - that was rather easy - everyone can do this, it is really quite simple.

Amazing work on the eagle! Your overall build is excellent.

With the right background and lighting it could easily pass for the real thing.

Thanks, David - I appreciate that (it is certainly one of my better trucks)

Gareth, that is rather easy - I could post a small tutorial in the "tips, tricks and tutorials" section of the board if I find the pics (I prepared one several years ago)...

Yes, that would be cool. I'm pretty good with art but on 1/25 scale models is all new to me. Decals can be hard to get in the UK and hand painting is pretty much the only alternative.

That was my only alternative, too - I will eventually post my tutorial this evening.

Very nice looking International.  I agree with others, the eagle is amazing, and overall the paint is very nice.

Hi Gareth, I posted a small tutorial yesterday in the tips and trick section of the board.
