Awesome Gassers!

I love the fighter plane (P-51?) style one.

How did you do all the panel lines and rivets?

Thanks David G.

Three coats of Tamiya Bare Metal (TS12) silver. Scribed panel lines with the back side of an Xacto blade. Used a straight edge where I could and plastic label maker tape where I couldn't. Punched (pressed) the more than 500 rivet heads by hand with a 1.5mm hole punch. Washed it with Tamiya panel wash (black), then hit it with 3 coats of Tamiya Clear (TS13). I was very happy with how it turned out. I like to give them that rode hard and put away wet look with just enough grunge.

All the best....

Gassers, Modified Productions, and Super Stocks are my favorite of all time drag cars.  You have built an impressive collection of Gassers.  As many of the others have said that '49 Ford is over the top beautiful, most excellent and inspiring work.

I am in awe. These Gassers are excellent! An incredible amount of work shows on every one. I especially like the "aluminum" diamond plate. Where can I get that? I have tried to find it without success.
