James2 Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 This was at least two years in the making and has just a bit of everything, still need some lens but good to call it finished. Starting with a Drag City pick up body and a 58 Chevy parts kit. I just kept adding things I felt look cool. Lots of scratch built and parts box pieces. Alclad and Tamiya spay paint. 5 Quote
espo Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 I like how you blended the '58 Chevy rear bed into the body. Great looking paint and color. Quote
larman Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 Super job! A well designed and cleanly built show rod! Quote
moparfarmer Posted January 16, 2022 Posted January 16, 2022 For lens you could fill the cavity with white glue(Elmer's or such) build it up..It will dry clear then you've got lens..Not with marking but you have lens// Quote
Kah puts Posted January 17, 2022 Posted January 17, 2022 Totally wild, looks like you had a lot of fun putting this together, congrats. Quote

stavanzer Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 Awesome Showrod Build! The Blue is perfect for this build. Quote
Dennis Lacy Posted January 19, 2022 Posted January 19, 2022 The design of the body is excellent. It flows nicely and looks every bit the part of 60’s made show rod. Great color choice, too! Quote
alan barton Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 It works for me! It is so typical of the craziness of the early to mid sixties. You did an amazing job of cutting those huge pieces down to such a small body. Cool as! Cheers Alan Quote
stevehansen Posted January 20, 2022 Posted January 20, 2022 VERY COOL, WELL EXECUTED??? WHERE'D YOU GET THE WHEELS & TIRES?? Quote
