Are these wheels available in 1/25 scale? Chevrolet S-10 Baja

  1. The front wheels in the Monogram '64 GTO should be close. You'll just need to shave the lip down the way you want it. Don't know if they have the exact number of holes or not. Are the wheels on the full scale '16"? They look bigger than '15s.

Thanks!  Supposedly they are 235/75/15.   But, I bet those wheels could be made to work ... if I could find a set.

Maybe someone who has this kit can post an image of the actual wheels, but the included 1:25 wheels do not have the same high-positive offset like the 1:1 wheels shown on the vehicle pictured on the box:

Thank you all for the help in identifying a wheel that might be passable.   I've put a post in the Wanted section for the wheels from the Blazer kit.  Hopefully, someone will have a set because they used the other wheels in their kit or something....

If you find a set, please post an image or two of them here. I'm curious what the offset is/looks like.

Here are some other similar 12-hole aluminum wheels I found. Below, left to right, the kit each was sourced from: 1/24 Monogram '86 Monte Carlos SS, 1/24 Monogram '64 GTO, 1/25 AMT Ford '9? Ford F-150 *10 hole*, ?????, and 1/24 Monogram Ford F-150 "High Roller":

The Left wheel, from the 1/24 Monogram '86 Monte Carlo, measures .664" O.D., so multiply by 25, then subtract 1" and you get 15.60". The second wheel from the left, sourced from the 1/24 Monogram '64 Pontiac GTO kit, measure .675" O.D., so 15.875" in 1/25 scale. The wheel should measure close to .640" O.D. to equal a 15" wheel in 1/25 scale.

Here's a different view of the wheel in question. I might be able to whip something up for you, Jonathan. The five-lobed center cap appears to be very similar to those found in the MPC '86 El Camino Rally wheels, too. Which tires are you planning to use?

Ya know ,,, it'd be pretty easy to just take one of those wheels, the one you like the look if best, and cut and sand down the rim until it's the depth you want and repaint it or just go over the exposed plastic on the rim with a molotow pen.

🤔 This is a 16" 1/25 scale Goodyear Wrangler AT tire, and I turned the test wheel down a bit too much (O.D. is now .610"), but should be doable, provided I can source another wheel or two...or four.

Wow!  That's pretty awesome.   I'm not sure what tire I'd use, I need to dig around a bit.

I think that 16" wheel would be perfect.

That is a thought, too.  If Casey makes these, maybe he'll start providing them in his store. :)

I think Fireball Modelworks is currently the only available source for BFG Radial All-Terrain T/A tires. Does Joseph make these in a 235/75/15 size, or something very close to that?

I have some of the blank sidewall BFGs from the Revell Hummer H2/Raptor kits, but they are at least 17", and would probably be way out of proportion for an S-series truck.

I agree, the 17" would be too much.  I have some of Joseph's other stuff and it is really, really good.

Joseph's BFG A/T is a 31x10.5-15, though at scale I don't think the height difference would be that great. Scenes Unlimited also sells them, and he says they are actually for 16" wheels. However in my opinion, Joseph's tires look much better.

I really do like Joseph's stuff.
