DanL
Owned one of these in the late 70's. Mine was blue with black interior but I think the white version was nicer. Model turned out well except for the hood scoop color which doesn't match the stripes. Cheers

I think the steering wheel turned out just right but I should have painted the inside ring on the gauges in black. Have to get some proper blue for the scoop

rrb124@sbcglobal.net
Home Run. Looking very real. Reminds me of seeing them on the street. When I get around to building mine I may try several paint combinations. Thanks for posting.

NOBLNG
Sweet! I think these Firebirds are a better looking car than their Camaro siblings, and you did an excellent job on this one!?

espo
Beautiful looking T/A. I agree with you on the white being the better looking finish. This body style was the best looking F Body. The interior looks great.

I think these Firebirds are a better looking car than their Camaro siblings, and you did an excellent job on this one!? I owned a 701/2 Z28 before the Trans Am. The Z was by far the most exciting but it was set up as Pro Street car... Traction bars, 4.11's, cheater slicks, air shocks and heavily modified 350 LT1 engine that I could never get to idle below 1000 rpm... super fast and super reliable. The Trans Am was mostly stock and really felt more like a stump puller than the Camaro, but was still a sexy car and very rare. Going to build a duplicate of my old Z28 but I have to refine my skills a bit more because it's going to need quite a bit of modifications and aftermarket parts.
