I'd really like to build a model of my 1970 Mustang Coupe. Does anyone know if they made a kit of the coupe?

Revell - when they were an independent company - produced a 1970 Grande Coupe (with convertible option, IIRC).

It’s not the most accurate kit (better than a Palmer) but hard to find and very expensive unbuilt.

Contact Gerry Chevalier on Facebook.  I know he casts a 69 Coupe in resin.  He may also have a 70.

Probably your best bet.  You use the rest of the kit from a Revell/Monogram 70 Mustang.

It would require some work, but I believe a Cougar roof could be transplanted to make the Mustang into a believable coupe.

The 70 Mustang coupe roof is very different. A 71-73 Cougar roof works for making a 71-73 Mustang notch back.

Would the 69-70 Cougar roof not work?

Never looked at that swap.....I did the 71 way back but it was pretty bad, my work not kit fit.
