This is the Resto Rods release of the AMT kit. I wanted that Street Rod look and had to use the Pegasus wheels and tires. This required wheel tubs. Once I articulated the front wheels and got the ride height where I wanted, i had to rebuild the inner fender wells so the wheels could be positioned. I also wanted a 396 power plant. I cast this in resin. This is the 1st time using a return spring and a throttle cable. It's a tight fit in the engine bay so I had to make my own headers. I used soldier for this. No room for the battery. I'm saying it's in the trunk. The exhaust was a hybrid parts box and 12 AWG copper wire. I went after the interior with Apple Barrel craft paint and a chrome pen. The exterior paint is gloss black craft maint mixed 2:1 with alcohol shot at 20 psi. The clear is Duplicolor automotive clear.

Thanks for looking!

Your right about the similarities to the 65 Malibu. The stance on this is killer. Well done Steve.

Cheers,

David. ??
