I've just placed the air boxes on for the picture, can't glue them on until the body is finished and "married" to the chassis.

It helps to fill in that area, plus I'll be adding hoses and stuff.

Next up are the scratch built fuel tanks and hoses, hopefully soon!

I decided to see what I can do with the kit interior.

Here's the dash, those door hinges look ridiculous, but let's see if they're really all that bad.

First I removed the instrument panel, not sure what I'll do with it but it's out now!

The seat cusions look too long, so I cut a section out of them, on the bottom piece you can see just how much shorter I made them.

I cut the headrests from the seatbacks and drilled them for stainless rod.

There were some serious mold release sink holes, but they're filled now.

I added some dry transfer "Horsies" to the headrests and once painted, they are supposed to look like they're embossed into the leather.

They fold forward to reveal the removable panel for the 360 engine service!

I added heat shield from Model Factory Hero behind seats and on the removable panel in the middle.

I started making fuel tanks.

I made fuel gauge sending unit, electric fuel pump, canister type fuel filter, crossover pipes and installed it all, with lines and fittings.

You can't see much of it, but it was just fun doing it.

The red lines point to the pump and filter from the bottom.

Hey Dann, you know with this kind of build the progress pictures will show some rather sloppy work as it keeps getting re-engineered and re-worked but in the end I will clean up and touch up anything that shows.

The build is so much fun, in the end it has to look good, but during, it might not look so nice.

Anyway, thank you for your kind words, Ciao!

For sure, and its looking great!!

Onto the dashboard.

I cut out the gauge cluster so I could detail it easier.

I made the fuse block cover that was missing in the kit.

I wrapped some curved styrene with .010 wire, then painted it "rubber black" and installed those "ducts" from the A/C unit to the dash vents.

Here's how the dashboard and door panels turned out.

The Zero Paints "Cuoio" painted speaked grilles were given a wash with Tamiya light grey panel line,

Dash is a mix of flat black, semi-gloss black, black, rubber black, and nato black.

NOTE: On the real car, the window buttons are on the center console and the door openers are tucked up under the arm rests, so the door cards are uncluttered.

Okay, now I'm just kinda goofing around.

The headlights do not pop up as on the real car, but I made some in the closed position that may never be seen behind the bumper and grille.

I made a radiator which will also not be seen, the bottom of the car is completely enclosed, so maybe it'll show through the grille, we'll see, likely won't show.

I did manage to get all the glass in and the body glued to the chassis.

The doors are still a WIP themselves!

Cheers!
