I did a built up of the Revell Gene Snow Vega kit a number of years back, before I had a better focus on paint work and basic building skills. The shelf model has been sitting, collecting dust ever since, just waiting for me to re-do it.

The chassis on this one is already done, and plenty good enough for a shelf model. I stripped the body and reprimed and repainted it. The kit gives you decals to do the 75 version with the red to blue fade paint job. In my wealth of research photos I have always seen pictures of the 74 car, which was all red. I chose to do this one, although there are currently no available decals for this car, which has the "Gene Snow" markings, along the side, done in a golden yellow paint scheme. I chose to proceed anyway and simply use the blue letters that are available on the Slixx sheet for the 75 Vega or Monza.

This one has been sitting at the back of the workbench collecting dust just waiting to be completed. So, I spent the last few days, in my spare time, getting it finished. Nothing special. Simply an out of box shelf model. That's one more 70's era funny car to add to the shelf. So many more to go.

Nice  very very nice. I love this year vega funny car and as usual you've done a great job on it.

Wish Revell would re release this year car even without any markings

That's very nice that Vega is very rarely seen model car.. Paintjob looks cool and detailing is very nice. Like it a lot. That frame is looking good. There is no any mistakes. Thank you for sharing this one.
