I stepped up my game a little with this one. B) For starters, I made my first tilt front end. It didn't match up perfectly, but not bad for a first try! I also wet sanded the paint and clear coat, used scratch x and wax, and to show off the gloss, I made a photo booth. Enjoy!

Nice job, but HOLY MOLEY, how big are those picture files? I have the fastest download rate available, but this page took forever to load. Those pictures look big in this thread, and they're shown to be 20% to 25% scale. Can you post smaller images?

I got a 10 MB camera for my birthday. Yeah, they're kinda big. Since the page shrinks them, I didn't tihink about making them smaller. I'll have to do that on my next post! Thanks for looking!

Meaning nothing as to the quality of your model ...it's very nice...but I kinda laughed a bit all by myself here. Why? .... because the first thing I thought of when seeing the pics with the body off was of Sheriff Buford T. Justice's police car after it lost it's roof in Smokey and the Bandit!

I see it! "Daddy, the top came off!"

Well, you've taken an already great kit and knocked it out of the park. That tilt front end looks like it belongs on that kit OOB.

Thank you! That front end took forever to fill and sand, but boy, was it worth the trouble! B)

Very nice job. MassCar's theme next year will be "Goodbye, Mercury." C'mon down and bring that with you next year, I think it will be very well-received.

Thanks! Hopefully it isn't on a "school night," it looks like you guys are about 3 hours away. Teaching antsy freshman the next day would be a bear! B)

The show is on a Sunday, but you'll be home in plenty of time for school- over by about 3:30-4:00.

High school freshmen or college freshmen?

I taught business at Twin Valley High School in Wilmington for a semester.
