zimmie Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Hey guys, last night I ordered the revell kenworth w900. It was only $21 so I don't know how good it will be. Anyone here put this one together? Thanks in advance.
camaro73 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I put one together a month ago. It is one of the easier builds. You will enjoy it!
zimmie Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 Cool nice truck man, thanks I put the revell pete together and it also was an easy build so this model should the same... oh well it will keep me busy a little while. Does the cab and sleeper come together as one?
camaro73 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 The cab and sleeper are one unit. Pretty much like the Pete kit. That is the one I am working on now.
Jim B Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 The cab & sleeper are a single unit. The kit lacks some details like brakes & a visor, but it does build out nicely.
zimmie Posted November 22, 2011 Author Posted November 22, 2011 thanks guys like I said I ordered last night thru a hobby store in somerset pa and the guy said he'll get it tomm. And that he would send it right out so maybe Friday or Saturday cause of holiday.
freightshaker Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 hey this kits build up real nice, and with alil creative energy and some spare parts you can do soo much with these. the revell w900 is what i started with when i built this truck.. the peterbilts are very versatile as well.. the possibilities are endless my friend.
zimmie Posted November 23, 2011 Author Posted November 23, 2011 Wow! Nice k whooper! Where did you get the bumper and sun visor!? Looks sick...
Wagoneer81 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 (edited) The Pete 359 and W900 kits are engineered exactly the same. The only difference is the shape of the body. If you liked the Pete, you'll get along just fine with the W900... Here's another one, just to inspire... This one's built box stock except for the company logo and lettering. Paint is Duplicolor Royal Blue. I love these kits, I have several more in various stages of construction, both Pete and KW... Edited November 23, 2011 by Wagoneer81
bandit1 Posted November 23, 2011 Posted November 23, 2011 they are easy to put together ,,,BUT,,, watch out for the tire issues ! otherwise build away!
