modelmike Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 This kit is my first attempt at details like spark plug wires and other things... This is my 12th kit sence I started the hobby back in Jan of this year... What do you think?
Chuck Most Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Nice! Really like the engine bay detail. Always liked the Fox-era Capris. I think if I'd have built it I'd have used some smaller front tires, but that's just a 'personal preference' thing.
Dr. Cranky Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 NIIIIIICEEEE! That engine bay is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
slusher Posted September 10, 2012 Posted September 10, 2012 Nice build of a kit you don't see often. Nice work..
modelmike Posted September 10, 2012 Author Posted September 10, 2012 Thank you guys for the great feed back... and a big thanks to the Dr. I am a big fan of your builds....
3men2s Posted September 12, 2012 Posted September 12, 2012 LIKE THAT OLD SCHOOL LOOK, GREAT CHOICE IN WHEELS AND THAT POWER PLANT LOOKS GRAET
1930fordpickup Posted September 16, 2012 Posted September 16, 2012 Nice looking Capri . Seeing this makes me miss the 79 1:1 I sold to my cousin in 2002 .
JasonFL Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Nice job on the build Mike. Deffinatly not your every day mercury capri, this thing just looks like someone's toy they take to the track on friday/Saturday nights that they work on in their little garage. Think you did a great job on the wires especially for it being your first attempt. I have yet to attempt the wires and some other details yet but I'll get there one day. Anyways, nice build, what's on the bench for #13?
Sixties Sam Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Nice Capri! Looks mean! Great finish and engine detail! Sam
