That's a good looking oldie. How come you build these European truck when you have such beautiful US trucks over there?

Hessel

the Netherlands (where this DAF was 'born') :D

Well stranger things have happened. I only build US style trucks  . This includes Australian and New Zealand ones. This one looks really good.

thanks,

Outstanding build...Really looks good....I have quite a few Euro rigs in my collection....Mainly because they seem to go on sale more than the US ones, but I do like the way cabovers are designed and built....I'm partial to Scanias and Mans, but this DAF looks awesome....

Lovely outfit, it's a very long time since I saw a Daf like that. It's unusual to see a 6x4 in the UK these days too, which makes me glad to see them in model form. Is that the Revell heavy duty trailer?

Thanks Simon. Yes it is the Revell heavy duty trailer.

Here is the work in progress thread for the trailer. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69257&hl=

A DAF 3300 in Texas???????? WOW!!!

Brian you have done a great job on this one. You did it justice. Congratulations!!!

Many of these units (rigid 6x2 or 6x4 & traktors 4x2) 3300/2800 even a few 2600 are still making money here in Greece.

Kostas.

Very nice work!

true we don't see these often, multi piece cab nicely assembled...good Italeri

got ride of the 2 pieces plastic Michelin tires  in latest limited reissue

Remember getting the DAF 3300 Italeri kit, as a gift, when it came out in 1983.
