Jeremy get as many pictures of the net or part suppliers get measurments.Go to your local hobby store,get some plastic and take your time and build one.There is all sorts of shapes from evergreen plastic struk etc. The key is take your time check out kennb stuff he was my mentor his stuff is awsome

you might check some of my builds with motors,,,they are very similar in structure

There is a diecast 1/25th scale Cat 3516B Genset made by Northcot. It can be detailed up quite nicely

Revel Germany also made a V10 genset as a load for their 6 axle flatdeck

It is very basic and need a lot of work to detail it out. I think that this may have been patterned off a Sultzer V12 motor but it was condensed to fit the box.

At the LHS recently I found a Walthers HO scale locomotive engine kit that I think will make a 1/25 scale towable genset. It will take a lot of additional detailing.
