dptydawg Posted May 16, 2013 Posted May 16, 2013 There is a diecast 1/25th scale Cat 3516B Genset made by Northcot. It can be detailed up quite nicely Revel Germany also made a V10 genset as a load for their 6 axle flatdeck It is very basic and need a lot of work to detail it out. I think that this may have been patterned off a Sultzer V12 motor but it was condensed to fit the box. Carl
Car Man Posted May 16, 2013 Author Posted May 16, 2013 (edited) Bob thanks for the ideas Kenneth Carl thanks for the pictures thanks guys i look forward on building mine but not right a way because i got to finish up my other projects Edited May 16, 2013 by Car Man
heepey Posted May 18, 2013 Posted May 18, 2013 At the LHS recently I found a Walthers HO scale locomotive engine kit that I think will make a 1/25 scale towable genset. It will take a lot of additional detailing.
Car Man Posted May 24, 2013 Author Posted May 24, 2013 could i use a motor out of a transport truck for generator??
