FordRodnKustom Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Calling this one done. Been a long ride and I'm happy with the result. Here it is, warts and all. I started with this old ebay built up. Ended up with this.I had more before shots but they are missing from Fotki at this time. If interested here's a link to what's left of the build photos. http://public.fotki.com/bigfordpilot/my_built_model_cars/built_models/in_progress/black_62/
Harry P. Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 The end result sure looks a lot better than what you started with!
cobraman Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 My first car was a 62 Ford. I love your build.
realgone58 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 That's wild..........I love the side trim, and the color is perfect!
Joker Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Another one saved from the styrene crusher. Kool roof transplant too.
Albie D Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Dig it! Love the roof transplant and taillight treatment. Great job.
Chuck Most Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 N-I-C-E. These old annuals always look great built up, and bonus points for saving a shabby older builtup.
PappyD340 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Very NICE save Ron, looks fantastic, love the side molding!!
ChevyCoupe41 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Wow! One of the best lookin Starliners what I've seen yet! Color is perfect and like that style a lot. It looks mild custom but at same time it looks street machine. Very Nice Job!
Chris White Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 I can't believe they are the same car, awesome work
Ford guy Posted November 12, 2013 Posted November 12, 2013 Great build Ron! Nice body work, that roof looks like it was born there, and those tail lights look awesome! Very Kool Kustom.
FordRodnKustom Posted November 12, 2013 Author Posted November 12, 2013 Thanks all! I appreciate you good words on this one. I stepped out of my comfort zone here and tried a few new techniques and styling ideas I hadn't done before.
S. Svendsen Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 The styling elements really work well on your Ford. Nicely done!
Geno Posted November 15, 2013 Posted November 15, 2013 Absolutely amazing transformation. I bow before you.
