Kodiak Island Modeler
This is a model of a 1969 Ford Galaxie 500 XL GT that I owned when I was young. I liked my cars big, but a little muscle like I got from that 429 didn't hurt any. I'm sure that mother was lecturing her daughters to stay away from any guy that would drive a car like that. ChrisBcritter
Hopefully she's giving the brunette a stinging lecture about sitting on other people's cars! The Ford looks good in black. I have one in my "to do" stash; probably will get a set of Magnum 500s for it. Edited March 16, 2014 by ChrisBcritter

formula1129
Nice. Is this a 1/25 kit that you put together? If so, I am looking for one, and if so, who makes it? Thanks in advance..... I have the 1/43 Neo resin model.
Kodiak Island Modeler
This is from the AMT reissue of a few years ago, which can still be found at reasonable costs on the auction sites. The decals are Keith Marks offerings.
charlie8575
This is a very nice build, and I really like the scene set up. Wonder if those girls are single....? Ben- this is a fairly nice kit- just remember, it was new-for-1969, so might need a little massaging to make it really shine, but even with minimal effort, it builds up well. formula1129
Thanks Doug and Charlie for the info. Anybody else build one of these? With pics?
w451973
WOW. Both of those are very nice. I love those. An the Marauders. New cars just don't have the class and style like those old ones.
