Brendan30 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Not sure where this one is going to go, fit is off in this kit and the engine is kind of shoddy
bpletcher55 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 nice job on the weathering , keeping my eye on this one .
Brendan30 Posted April 29, 2014 Author Posted April 29, 2014 Thanks guys, I've been very patient with the weathering and details on my models lately watching a lot of videos and trying new techniques. So far so good hopefully this one turns out nice, I have a couple more projects that I set aside that are making me itch to get moving on.
bpletcher55 Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 your doing a great job on the weathering , take your time look at real cars and trucks to see how the weather can make them look and how they rust ,
crazyrichard Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 i know where it is going !! too coolness love it
Jantrix Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Very much up my alley. Please keep it going, looks great so far.
Brendan30 Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 So the turquoise is a water based acrylic from a tube, sprayed it through my air brush first time and I think it came out great, trying to find better color options at a fraction of the cost for these weathered projects.
Nate Posted May 9, 2014 Posted May 9, 2014 I love the weathering, especially the roof. Not to be nit-picky, but this is sedan delivery, not a panel truck.
Brendan30 Posted May 13, 2014 Author Posted May 13, 2014 http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=360833151225 Revell should probably change the name then
Nate Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 (edited) http://m.ebay.com/itm?itemId=360833151225 Revell should probably change the name then It's not the first time a manufacturer has mislabeled something. A 53 Chevy panel truck looks something like this (This is a 54): Again, I love the progress so far... Edited May 13, 2014 by Nate
