curt raitz Posted May 21, 2014 Posted May 21, 2014 (edited) Heading to the Santa Maria Car/Model show this weekend, needed to bring an appropiate model car for the Model Car Show. So picked up the new/re-issue of the "The Malco Gasser". Scalefinishes carries a set of paint specifically for this car; a 2 oz bottle of '67 Malco Mustang Blue for the body and a 1 oz bottle of '67 Malco Mustang Trim Blue for the wheel arches. Model went together fairly easy, here it be: thanx for lookin'... Edited May 21, 2014 by curt raitz

Truck parts Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Nice build and thank you for the tip on the paint.
MODELFREAK2112 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 AWESOME! Great work on a cool kit, Got mine molded in light blue. Just wanted to ask was your chute opening solid or cut out, mine is solid. Thanks for the cool photos as I can see that doesn't need to be cut as high as the instructions show.
Silver Foxx Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Great looking build , so nice , paint looks terrific .
Misha Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Great job on this iconic Mustang. The paint is spot on with the added detail of the darker blue on the wheel arches. Finish and execution with the wired engine all speaks of great craftsmanship. Enjoy the weekend show! Cheers Misha
curt raitz Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 AWESOME! Great work on a cool kit, Got mine molded in light blue. Just wanted to ask was your chute opening solid or cut out, mine is solid. Thanks for the cool photos as I can see that doesn't need to be cut as high as the instructions show. Model came with the rear panel solid, took me awhile, but finally found the "cut-out" on the instruction sheet I had few photos of the rear of the car and used those as a guide for the "cut-out"
